It is important to do this well to avoid problems with smells, insects or bags breaking.
1 Place an old newspaper in the bottom of your “caddy". It will be collected with the food waste.
2 Place a biobag. It is important to keep the lid closed at all times to avoid insects.
3 Any Food Leftovers, Fruit & Vegetable Peels, Meat & Fish, Scraps & Bones, Tea Bags, Coffee Grinds. Egg shells, Cheese, bread, Pasta & Rice, Plants & Flowers, Napkins
4 Clear Plates and pots quickly to stop flies and cockroaches feeding on it.
5. Cover with sawdust if it gets smelly or flies are attracted.
6 Keep the handle up or down at the front to lock the lid shut tight and stop insects.
7 Tie your biobag with a knot. Leave it inside your caddy before putting it outside your doorstep for collection.
